iPhone XR drop test: How many falls did it take to break? We dropped a brand-new iPhone XR on the sidewalk to find out just how tough this phone is compared to the more expensive iPhone XS. The   iPhone XS proved it can take a beating   in our drop test, but is the cheaper   iPhone XR   just as strong? At first glance, the iPhone XR shares a lot of the same features as its higher-end sibling: edge to edge display, glass on either side and a metal bumper, but it is built slightly differently. It's also enclosed in an aluminum frame instead of the stronger stainless steel that wraps around the glass of the XS and the  XS Max . The glass itself is different, too. British Airways investigation into website hack

More than 185,000 people may have had payment card details stolen in a hack attack on the BA website. The victims were caught out by a website compromise that had gone undetected for months. BA only discovered the breach while investigating a breach of its website in September, which affected 380,000 transactions. BA owner IAG said both attacks seemed to have been carried out by the same group or gang. It added that it would contact the customers to let them know that their information had gone astray. Information about the breach was revealed in a stock exchange announcement by IAG. It said the earlier attack took place between April 21 and July 28. It only affected customers who had made bookings by cashing in BA loyalty programme rewards. IAG said two separate groups of customers were affected by the hack attack: 77,000 people had their name, address, email address and detailed payment information taken 108,000 people lost personal details apart from the CVV number

Gordon Ramsay, awarding the Michelin stars for UK & Ireland 2019, described the event last week as the "Oscars of the restaurant industry". Receiving a star isn't only an industry accolade - it can also be a boost to the business. The late Joël Robuchon , the world's most Michelin star-decorated chef, claimed the stars were financially transformative. "With one Michelin star, you get about 20% more business. Two stars, you do about 40% more business, and with three stars, you'll do about 100% more business,"  he told Food & Wine magazine last year . ADVERTISEMENT But according to the founders of Ellory in east London, their mark-up on receiving a first star was even higher. "Business went up by over a third," says Ed Thaw, who received the award just 11 months after opening. And yet, in a testament to how t
